Eftel Wholesale Portal
Eftel Wholesale have a variety of products available through an array of networks. To assist you in managing new and existing services we have provided this document as a quick guide to help you find your way around the wholesale portal.
Log into the Wholesale Portal. You will then be prompted to enter your Account ID and Password, which are included in this welcome pack.
Once you have logged in you will see the Eftel Wholesale Welcome page where you will be able to select and perform various Provisioning and Fault related tasks.
When new products are made available to you in the portal, the menu will automatically be updated to include additional sub-menus that enable you to provision and maintain your new connections.
Example: When an MSAN service is added to the portal after the service agreement is received, the "MSAN Accounts" sub-menu appears as well as the services on the MSAN network.
Notifications and updates will be emailed to your preferred email address when new options are available in the wholesale portal.
A sample of the Welcome Page can be seen below:
Provisioning MSAN/Telstra Services
The MSAN network is Eftel Wholesale's own infrastructure and allows you to provision a vast range of products and services to on sell to your end user customer base.
To access these services from the main menu select ‘Create New ADSL Account'. This is where the MSAN and Telstra services are listed for you to provision as per the screenshot below:
In the above screenshot you will see both the Telstra and MSAN services available to. Simply select a service from the list and click ‘Next' to provision services as per normal procedure.
NOTE: If you choose an MSAN product in which the service is not located on an active MSAN exchange then a red notice will appear after you enter the phone number of the service to be provisioned in the second step. Eftel Wholesale recommends you try our other networks if this is the case.
Once your service is created within the portal you can then access it by selecting ‘MSAN Accounts' and search using the connection details.
As your customer base increases Eftel Wholesale suggests you search using the ‘Contract ID' or the ‘Service Number' function. Scrolling through multiple services can be quite time consuming.
Provisioning Optus based Services
As with MSAN and Telstra products, there are a variety of Optus based services which can be accessed through the Eftel Wholesale portal. (You can arrange access to these products by contacting your account manager and obtaining the required service schedules and agreements).
When an Optus service is to be provisioned for an end user the procedure is slightly different from provisioning Telstra or MSAN services. To create a new Optus connection, select ‘Create New ADSL2+ Account' from the left hand menu.
In the above example you will see all the Optus products listed in this customer's portal. Simply select the required service and click ‘Next' to provision services as normal.
NOTE: If a service is not located on an active Optus exchange then in the second step we will advise you with a red notice after you enter the phone number of the service to be provisioned. Eftel Wholesale recommends you try our other networks in this scenario.
Once the service has been created, you can access the list of Optus connections in your portal by selecting 'ADSL2+ accounts'.
Eftel Wholesale suggests searching for end user connections by using either the ‘service number' or ‘Contract ID'.
